Using Slippery Elm

Slippery Elm mucilage can decrease how much medicine the body absorbs. Take slippery elm at least 1 hour after other medications if necessary. Waiting will give the medication the opportunity to be absorbed.

Safety and Precautions:

Consumption of slippery elm is considered safe and no side effects seem to occur. However, as a topical application it may cause skin irritation in those at risk of developing allergic reactions. There are no known interactions with foods. 

We recommend you consult with a qualified health practitioner before using this product, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing or are on any medications. Keep out of reach from children.
