Can I give essiac tea to my pets?
Yes absolutely! We offer a convenient 16oz bottle of premade Essiac with dosing syringe AND chart included on the bottle.
Just Tea has made Essiac since1994; during that time many people have given their various pets essiac tea. If they weigh under 100 lbs (45kg) check out the dosage chart below. This is a per dose chart and can be given orally or applied directly to skin.
Your pet may experience diarrhea when taking essiac tea because it's a diuretic and everything goes through their systems quickly. Make sure they have plenty of water throughout the day and access to where they use the restroom within 30 minutes of taking the tea.
What is the tea used for?
Essiac has been used for a number of different things from skin tags, to allergies, infections to various cancers pets can get. Most get more energy and are able to function day-to-day in better spirits than before. We make no claims but we've given it to various family pets over the years and seen a wide range of issues clear up.
How do I give this tea to my picky pet?
Great question! While it's preferred to give the tea directly, adding it to water, bone broth or wet food is always an option.
